走头无路- Babel

I know I am slow in this. I only managed to see Babel by Brad Pitt last Tuesday on cable TV of course. Who has the time to go to the movie anymore???

There was a scene about the nanny and 2 kids in the desert where the feeling of being so lost, thirsty and worry captured so strongly in the film. Gosh! I never had such a strong feeling of 走头无路 in my life. During that scene, I so wanted to break through the intense feeling it brought me. I felt so nervous, thirsty and restless when I was watching it.
Apart from that, I so want to know what it said in the letter the mute girl gave to the police. The film left it open-ended with the naked mute girl and the father to fade out. I guess the meaning was to suggest that the police molested her and the father was to comfort her? One thing I do know though is the film has strongly suggested that she is in desperate need of love and attention.
To me, this film is such a powerful and skilful (everything were connected by 1 rifle) film. It captured my heart totally. Hopefully I am able to watch another good movie again just to make myself available to be a commentator again.
Hehe… Phantom of the Opera is coming to Auckland soon. I am thinking should I see it for my 3 rd time!? E1 is definitely going since I have encouraged him to. Not a freaking chance to miss, I reckon!!!

I know it's frivolous to say but.. I like your Andy Lau quote about the quake. He puts it so eloquently.
