Dreams vs. Wishes

I got triggered by Jeffrey the other day to rethink on the definition of "dreams" and "wishes" when I gave him a new year greeting.

The greeting said "Happy New Year and May all your wishes come true."

He replied and said he only has dreams!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh... I asked why. He answered only dreams will come true.

Is it true that only dreams will come true? Is it true that wishes is less meaningful than dreams? I am confused and I am afraid!!!

I don't take my dreams seriously and now wishes are also not working well according to Jeffrey, then what do I get in the end??? Practically, nothing I suppose.

So, I better get cracking with my life. I am no longer young and beautiful (not that I am a beauty but at least my man did not get nightmares while sleeping with me all these years!!!), I must get focused and get on with my life!!!

My dear frens, do you have dreams or "just" plain wishes?
